Impending Triumph Tiger Sports 660 Adventure Bike Partially Unveiled, Check Images Here

Iconic British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph has announced the cheapest member of their ADV production line. The Tiger Sport 660 is an adventurous version of its brother, the Trident 660. The company announced the camouflage bike in one of their test videos, which also shows that the bike has reached the final stage of testing.

The Tiger Sports Series is especially for customers who want to drive for travel purposes and stick with darker than off-road dirt. The bike is expected to hit Indian roads in early 2022. As mentioned above, the Tiger Sport 660 Naked Street Fighter, Trident 660 and specifications overlap, however, Tiger Sports differs in some respects.

Talking about the same things between the two models, the basic architecture remains the same, including a powertrain running on two bikes. The motor produces 80bhp of horsepower with a maximum torque of 64Nm. Both units are equipped with a six-speed gearbox and an auxiliary clutch. Other features like suspension and braking system have been selected from Trident 660.

Now speaking of differences, Tiger Sports runs on the same 17-inch alloy, but the tires are vulcanized by Michelin Road 5 rubber. The new Tiger Sports can get a new rear subframe and swingarm with some ergonomic tweaks. As a Sport 660 Tourer, the seat will be longer than the Trident 660 and will also have taller handlebars. The head wind will wear a high windscreen, large front fender and sleek twin LED headlamps.

The Triumph Tiger Sports 660 has a large fuel capacity and a remarkably sized radiator, which does justice to its ADV descent. The exhaust, however, is located below the abdomen, which separates it from the trident.
